“Blue Jay Way”
These slim fit jeans were crafted taking last season's design and changing the material.
The denim used is inspired by Levi's vintage 1947 501. Jeans in the past emphasized black over blue in their coloring, giving them a characteristic, masculine indigo hue which we've brought out here. 7 gauge yarn is used in the warp and 7.4 gauge in the weft. The top of the weft is purposefully dyed beige. The beige actually starts off as a pink, which is then gently washed to cause color fading.
As one should expect, these jeans are woven on antique selvedge looms. The figure offered up is straight and close-fitting, with just the right amount of width. We came up with an original way of sewing the hips and buttocks to make these jeans easy to put on while still fitting just right.
