“You'd Be So Nice to Come Home to by Helen Merrill”

The Chesterfield coat is named after a British gentleman, the 6th Earl of Chesterfield. Traditionally used for formal occasions, but also suited for business and casual styles. Made from Tasmanian Polwarth, a breed of sheep that has one-quarter Lincoln and three-quarters British Merino bloodline, raised on Tasmania Island in Australia. For this season, we have applied “Royal Flannel” – delivering you a soft but sophisticated texture.

This traditional Chesterfield coat design has a long vent on the back, making it even more classic. We have also put a belt on the back, the same shape as the “high collar coat,” which allows it to have the beautifully constricted waistline. With the S shape running through the back, you can cut a true British man figure from behind.

Mixing silk and linen together for the lining of the sleeve offers you very comfortable texture even when you sweat. For the lining of the back, we chose both the mix of cupro/cotton and cupro/wool accordingly. For the inside pockets, we opted for a Nanjing piping pen pocket and a bigger pocket below. Perfect for the gloves and books – necessary items for noble men in winter.
