The real charm of this trenchcoat is found in its "jewel beetle" hue. We used 60 gauge beige twined Supima cotton yarn in the warp and orange-beige yarn in the weft to create a unique iridescent color, made from high density material. A post-tailoring treatment gives it the added feature of being water repellant.
The leather belt buckle is custom-made. The thinly shaved pull-up leather, used in cantate's signature Ribbon Knot Belt, results in a leather buckle that exudes stylishness. Three of these buckles are present, allowing you the freedom to adjust the length accordingly.
We opted for a simple, clean design in the shoulders with no epaulettes, and raglan sleeves. The collar lining uses narrow, continuous zigzag stitching. A secondary row of stitches added in the collar will have you wanting to wear this coat with the collar up. The figure offered up is a semi-large A-line, making it perfect to wear a little loose rather than with a snug fit.
